Architectural Assistantship is an amalgamation of the Architecture and Civil Engineering disciplines. The prime objective is to devise a comprehensive program which enables the student to excel in the field of architecture and civil engineering. The course is also designed to make the students to become Entrepreneurs in the field of building industry.
Design aspects and structural aspects required in the context of buildings and Campus development are covered in the syllabus.
Building materials, Building Construction Techniques, Architectural Design aspects, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Building Services, Structural Design, Estimation & Costing, Interior Design, Surveying, Model Making Workshop, Climatology and Sustainable design concepts are given in the curriculum. Our department has sufficient number of Classrooms, Drawing Halls, Computer Laboratory and Workshop with the facilities for Model Making.
Our Institution campus has sufficient space to carry out the hands on experience in terms of Building Construction Techniques to be adopted in the field in a realistic manner. Successful Completion of this programme will also make the student eligible for the competitive exams and Government Posts which are underlying the degree programme as a basic qualification.
